about

This organisation comprises a superimposition of the sound of all the presentations and performances, the keynote and the Courtauld Institute of Art lectures, and the introductory and concluding remarks heard at ‘The Noises of Art: Audiovisual Practice in History, Theory, and Culture’ conference, held at Aberystwyth Arts Centre in September 2013. The piece is 20-minutes and 34-seconds long, which is the duration of the shortest presentation, and the period when all the other deliveries can be heard simultaneously.
